Ice Cream Substitute or Whipped Topping
(Cookin’ With Powdered Milk)

6 Tbsp dry milk
2 tsp gelatin (flavored or plain)
¼ cup sugar
1 cup water
1 ½ Tbsp cold water
1 tsp vanilla
Dissolve the milk and gelatin in boiling water. Add sugar. Stir and chill in the refrigerator until it gels. Beat the mixture until it looks like whipped cream. It takes a while. Add vanilla and whip again.
Try adding flavors and freezing it for ice cream substitute
