Recipe changed by Juanita Smith—add or subtract, like nuts or kind of chips, etc. There really is nothing different making this recipe except the type of flour. Follow the packaging recipe instructions.
Ingredients: Note the only change is the amount and type of flour used: humid days will require the full amount of flour; likewise dry days—up to 1/4 c. less flour
2 1/2 cups whole-wheat flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened (I actually use shortening)
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 large eggs
2 cups (12-oz. pkg.) NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels
1 cup chopped nuts
