Quantities below are amounts needed of ingredients after rehydrating and/or substitutions according
to labels on cans. Amount may vary depending on brand used of dehydrated ingredients. Also fresh ingredients will require same amounts.
16 oz of hash browns (rehydrated or frozen)
2 T of dehydrated onion
8oz. of dehydrated sour cream
½ stick of melted margarine or substitute dehydrated
1 can cream of chicken soup
10 oz. of dehydrated cheddar cheese (Velveeta or cheddar may be used too)
Mix ingredients in large bowl, pat into greased 9 x 13 pan. May be topped with ½ cup melted margarine mixes with crushed potato chips if available. Bake at 350° for 1 ½ hours.
