Makes 12-16 (8-12 inch) tortillas
3-4 cups flour (wheat or all-purpose)
1/3 cup oil
1 cup warm water
1 tsp. salt
Mix together flour and oil until crumbly. Mix together water and salt; add to flour mixture. Mix and knead about 4 minutes until elastic. Let dough rest at least 1 hour. Divide into 12-16 balls.
Roll out into tortillas shapes. Cook on an un-greased skillet (or electric griddle) 1-3 minutes on each side.
